KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Business Development Organization.


  • Bring focus, energy, and go-to-market skills to help our firm win more business, close cycle times and improve our overall win rate

  • Become a Solution Specialist in their assigned field

  • Build market awareness of KPMG for their assigned product and service offering

  • Educate KPMG account teams and clients on how the solution helps address a client issue/need

  • Engage in Account Management, including Account planning, client procurement, meeting follow-up, pipeline development, opportunity pursuit, contract negotiation, risk management, proposal and Statement of Work (SOW) development and revenue attainment


  • Minimum eight years of consulting services or solution sales experience in high-end major national/global accounts; verifiable track record of exceeding expectations

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business or a related field or equivalent experience

  • Strong subject matter knowledge or industry experience, specifically with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Community Development Block Grants Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR)

  • Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of impeccable trust, confidence and results; ability to understand complex content and relate content around industry issues, client needs and KPMG service offerings

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead relationship building activities with C-Level executives, including CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, Business Executives and General Auditor

  • Ability to travel as necessary

In this role, as a Senior Partner Marketing Advisor for the State & Local Government and Education sectors, you will be the strategic thought leader to shape program design and orchestrate execution for impact of the Go-To-Market programs across both industries. Ensuring industry specific priorities are included in motions and campaigns, this role will be responsible for bringing Education and State & Local Government Industry focused motions to life, through partners. You will collaborate across stakeholder organizations to integrate State and Local Government and Education priorities throughout the partner ecosystem. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in product or channel marketing, partner channel development, through partner marketing, or marketing operations in the technology industry. * OR equivalent experience. * 2+ years of program management experience.
