Primary focus on Federal and supporting commercial Sales Opportunities for Cargo X-ray inspection systems
Primary accounts Dept of State, DHS Federal Protective Service, US Secret Service
Support for Cargo opportunities for commercial and other federal sales to include: Railroads, Critical Infrastructure, Express Mail/shipment
Manage the customer relationship and assist in translating customer expectations and growth in business opportunities.
Assist in other Cargo Opportunities as assigned
Works with team to provide timely responses, including ROM pricing, technical information, and responses to issues for current clients as they arise. Maintains files for Team members for technical information and serves as a liaison for pricing information as required in conjunction with Sales Operations and Bids and Proposal Teams
Assist in proposal writing and development when required developing win themes and pricing strategies with Bids and Proposals Teams
Assist in administrative tasks necessary to support contractual documents (GSA Schedule)
Maintains close ties across the organization to become a seasoned and reliable source (subject matter expert) for the sales team to address technical information including responses to questions from customers as they arise. Works diligently with Product Line Managers and Technical Marketing teams to broaden and deepen understanding of cargo products and related services.
Increase cross-sell sales opportunities for existing clients, describing and providing information on other product lines as requirements develop.
Works effectively across the team to respond to client requirements. Delegates to team members and provides feedback on materials presented, often assisting other departments in providing professional products to be delivered to clients.
Assist commercial team to increase revenue for commercial accounts in the cargo sector and assist team in penetrating Railroads, critical infrastructure, seaport and other pertinent markets
Supports an organic and evolving corporate structure.
Comply with all corporate policy, training and reporting requirements
Communicate with Contract Administration, Program Management, Quality and Operations Management, and Customer on a regular basis to ensure expectations are met
Training new personnel as required.
This position requires up to 50% travel

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years leadership experience in the security industry leading large multi-disciplinary initiatives; specifically business development
Previous experience conducting detailed due diligence, with demonstrated experience producing and presenting analysis, valuation, and recommendation materials to senior level executives required.
Innovative, creative self-starter; ability to envision what is possible
Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leaders.
