Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our executive team. This strategic role involves driving business growth and market share by identifying and leveraging new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong industry relationships, and leading a high-performing business development team. This position reports directly to the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer and plays a critical role in shaping the company's future.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with Retail clients, speaking with Sales Reps regarding product offering, pricing, and availability.

  • Entering, modifying, and canceling customer sales orders.

  • Client-facing opportunity with significant growth based on performance.

  • Processing full-cycle customer service initiatives from order receipt through delivery.

  • Manages relationships with dealer partners and sales representatives.

  • Tracks sales and order data, plans meetings and trade show marketing materials, maintains databases, and prepares reports.

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.

  • Track product line sales and costs by analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.

  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

  • Provides marketing assistance on Byrna platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) - updates, additions, revisions.

  • Maintain social media presence and use created graphics to spread brand and product awareness on a regular basis.

  • Work cross functionally within the organization, particularly with e-commerce initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring teams.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and manage change in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in CRM software
