Responsible for developing strategies and objectives for commercial helicopters new business development and related sales activities globally, both by supporting existing commercial structure with existing accounts and directly capturing business from new targeted customers. Additionally responsible for sales, market expansion and revenues to commercial and military helicopter market segments.


  • Analyzes competitive market strategy, customers, and prospects to seek out new opportunities, increase volume and secure new business.

  • Directs the strategic initiatives for commercial helicopters customers globally.

  • Oversees commercial business development activities to maximize and maintain favorable relations with customers.

  • Directs the growth and development of new commercial helicopters business opportunities, including evaluation and recommendations for new products and services.

  • Builds category expertise including demand, consumer and customer trends, competitive trends, market entries, new product launches, etc., to support MD Helicopters, Inc. in building distinctive thought leadership to our customers.

  • Develops and implements goals and objectives for commercial helicopters sales activities.

  • Establishes long-range sales objectives.

  • Prepares annual and long-term new business development sales forecasts and develops strategies to achieve objectives in product offerings and profitability.

  • Provides interim and short-range new business development sales forecasts and objectives; develops and implements sales strategies to meet these objectives.

  • Serves as a senior management liaison with stakeholders in formulating sales plans/pricing/forecasts as it relates to common customers.

  • 50-70% travel required with significant customer interface.


  • Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision.

  • Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.

  • Monitoring employee results and providing constructive feedback and coaching.



  • Extensive ability to manage and direct global business development programs with directly related experience in sales and marketing.

  • A demonstrated ability to enhance margins and work in partnership with the customer to address their needs.

  • Ability to be a team leader in change management, demonstrate strong aptitude to proactively identify problems and propose effective solutions.

  • Demonstrated leadership and the proven ability to develop and maintain productive customer relationships within the global marketplace.

  • A proven ability to run a customer focused organization with a history in both developing and negotiating agreements/working with proposals and contracts.

  • Ability to negotiate with customers to promote or sell ideas or concepts and be highly motivated to close the opportunity.

  • Must be able to build strong customer relationships.

  • The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate.

  • Ability to provide consistent, effective & efficient verbal and written communication.

  • The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.

  • Access to Export Control Information.

  • Regular attendance.


  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university (business, marketing, aviation operations or similar discipline is preferred); and 8-10 years work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or related degree preferred.

  • Broad based technical and business knowledge of the aerospace industry required.

DONOR CENTER DIRECTOR – LEADERSHIP - OPERATIONS Job Responsibilities As the Donor Center Director, you are responsible for leading and managing the donor center staff in the collection of plasma from our donors, including production, quality compliance, financial performance, HR and IT. Key responsibilities include: Additional responsibilities of the Donor Center Director role include: * Meeting or exceeding production goals and center budget. * Hiring and training staff, developing employees for promotional opportunities, and managing staff performance. * Complying with federal, state, local and company-specific regulations, including FDA and OSHA. * Developing a high level of customer service to our donors. * Developing and executing marketing plans to increase the number of new donors and retain existing donors. * Maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support production. * Shipping plasma products per shipping schedules and standard operating procedures. * Maintaining a safe work environment for both employees and donors. Requirements DONOR CENTER DIRECTOR – LEADERSHIP - OPERATIONS Job Requirements * Minimum three year's management/supervisory experience required. * Previous work experience demonstrating decision making ability, ability to lead, effectively communicate with and positively influence people, familiarity with fiscal operations, conflict resolution, ability to problem solve, and customer service. * Bachelor's degree preferred. * Ability to obtain certification in the technical donor center positions within six months required. * Ability to plan and organize work, work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines required. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). * Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
