Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma/GED required

  • 3-5 years of management/leadership experience

  • A combination of infant, toddler or preschool teaching experience

  • Well-versed in NAEYC accreditation and licensing standards

  • Strong leadership, supervisory and customer service skills and ability to create/maintain partnerships with families and staff

  • Ability to lead staff in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum

  • Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks or crisis situations effectively

  • Capacity to understand and manage center financial duties

  • Computer literacy

  • Experience working in an inclusive work environment and managing across differences

  • Must meet state educational and licensing requirements for director; additional center/school requirements may apply

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in the development, approval and implementation of plans, policies, procedures, goals, objectives and philosophies in furtherance of the Company's business development functions. * Assess methods to change the way products and services are provided and develop and analyze the creation of new opportunities in furtherance of Company goals. * Maintain a constant search for acquisitions, alliances and business investment opportunities consistent with achieving the Company's overall goals. * Continuously generate contacts and maintain an understanding of what is going on in the industries and areas in which the Company chooses to operate. * Act as a principle negotiator with prospective and/or existing business partners or customers. * Make presentations to executive management within the Company and the corporation and to prospective business partners or customers. * Assist in the development of the Company strategic-plan. * Direct (through subordinate managers) activities of production department to obtain optimum use of facilities and personnel. * Review and analyzes expenditures, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits. * Approves requisitions for equipment, materials and supplies within limits of department budget. * Enforces compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, and safety rules. * Train and develop subordinate personnel and approves personnel actions and pay changes for assigned area. * Coordinate production efforts with project managers and field to maintain maximum efficiency. * Review cost to compete of project managers in their market area. * Review project managers performance results, lead direct reports to improve results while maximizing resources * Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives. * Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * College degree in related field is preferred. * Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five –year electrical apprentice program or equivalent experience. * Ten years' experience in a project management and five years' experience in a divisional manager role. * Excellent internal and external customer relations KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Strong leadership and management skills. * Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. * Demonstrated financial analytical skills. * Excellent oral and written communications skills. * Experience with preconstruction and securing large and medium size projects.
