Overview
The Bonadio Group is currently seeking a Director level consultant to play a key role in the Bonadio Advisory and Consulting Service Line (BAC). This is a significant role with a focus on client engagement and successful completion of projects. This position will ensure that delivery is consistent with client expectations. This role requires the ability to build a network base, contribute to the growth of BAC services in our human services industry, while contributing to the overall growth of the BAC service line. This role also requires the aptitude to continually learn and use new skills, while working in a fast-paced, flexible client-service environment.
Responsibilities
Assisting in carrying out the vision for the human services industry practice and linspiring others toward that vision
Manage large and complex consulting projects from start to finish; Have the ability to perform entire consulting projects both individually and/or by working closely with a team; Deliver projects/engagements on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction
Lead, train, and mentor staff inclusive of oversight on client engagements and providing evaluative feedback
Participate in presenting subject matter education and analysis to clients' staff, upper-level management, and boards
Participate in marketing presentations for Advisory services which may include presentations to the public, clients, and potential clients, along with other related teams within The Bonadio Group
Recognize the opportunity of providing new and innovative services and demonstrates the ability to pursue such opportunities
Retain and develop new clients, including cultivating opportunities to cross-sell the firm's full range of client services
Assist with the promotion and growth of the network of The Bonadio Group and its affiliates
Develop understanding of client's business/industry related to client's engagement with BAC
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and client confidentiality while promoting ethical values with internal and external business activities
Work effectively among members of a project team which includes developing effective working relationships with colleagues
Comply with management and quality control procedures and systems
Qualifications
Required:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree
A minimum of 15 years of accounting, finance and/or relevant consulting experience working with sophisticated organizations
Demonstrated expertise in the human services industry, including all applicable regulations and laws
Demonstrated experience preparing complex correspondence including guidance, recommendations and proposals
Demonstrated experience in training and presentation skills
Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to client sites and other office locations
Computer proficiency and effectively applying technology tools in assigned areas including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with creation and monitoring engagement budgets
Preferred:
Experience managing or overseeing a team of finance/accounting professionals
Experience providing CFO or equivalent level services to a human services/nonprofit organization
The salary range for this opportunity is between $125,000 - $175,000 per year and is commensurate with experience.
Hours Of Operation:
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
