Senior Manager Back-Office QA Automation
You will lead all aspects of automation testing including design, implementation, code review, integration, maintenance and production deployment of test automation scripts and test-suites associated with the Salesforce platform and connecting API integrations (Dell Boomi), . You will be responsible for building and maintaining highly visible and scalable automation frameworks that use all the modern framework paradigms, techniques and tools. This role has primary focus on automation testing, but will also require manual UI QA at times.
Participate in the architecture, design and documentation of new and enhanced services
Lead technical discussions between internal teams and external strategic partners
Take a leadership role in understand and Automate to validate End to End products baselines at scale .
Mentor and lead team members ( team size of 10 ~ 15 geo wide)
Assist support teams in solving complex issues.
Develop baselines for every release hold quality bar, identify gaps and define component level accountability to drive root cause analysis & corrections.
Recommend and institute best practices, frameworks, design patterns, tools and reference architectures
Conduct product/tools evaluation and provide enterprise appropriate recommendations
Oversees interdependencies between interfacing technologies and their support teams Influences and drives engineering strategy.
Participates with internal & external organizations to drive continuous improvement
Challenge, draw conclusions, and anticipate problems & resolution strategies
Oversees highly complex, cross functional projects independently at a cross portfolio level in multiple domains.
Communicates concepts, action plans crisply
Ensures that infrastructure for projects is architected and delivered according to plan, design, and deployed successfully, including on premise and cloud.
Provide day-to-day technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to our back-end production team Set strategy of innovative and efficient technology solutions.
What you need to succeed: (must have highlighted)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred
Have 15+ years of software development , testing and Automation experience.
10+ years leading technology transformation
Have strong communication skills, both oral and written
Have strong presentation skills for presenting technology solutions to internal stakeholders and external partners
Have strong enterprise and software architecture skills encompassing data, application and technology including security
Strong understanding of relational databases structure and functionality and experience with all major databases - Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL, postgreSQL or Oracle
RESTful API's (AWS, Google Apps, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Box)
Have strong experience in enterprise application integration including SOA, Billing systems, APIs, Web Services (SOAP/RESTful), Micro Services, Containerization
Have experience with using XML, XSD, JSON and other data payload formats
Have experience in data architecture and design across ETL, DWH and Analytics; Big Data, Hadoop, SQL and NOSQL databases
Have experience in DevOps stack (CI & CD) and other dependency (Jenkins, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of pipeline development technologies (Git/Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar, jUnit
Have experience with Agile software development practices and tools Have experience in the Financial services space ( CPQ Apttus,Billing,...)
Experience implementing cloud IPaaS platforms like Mulesoft, Dell Boomi etc.
Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture, salescloud, servicecloud, and APIs
Experience with common integration patterns used on the Force.com platform
Experience with large data volume considerations, risks, and mitigation strategies
Understand strategies to build an optimized, high-performing solution which incorporates data movement best practices.
Experience with Salesforce page layouts, profiles, permissions, workflows, and approval processes
Experience in planning, preparing, and executing functional, integration, and user acceptance testing including end-to-end test scenarios across multiple systems and batch processes
Experience in developing test strategies and leading all aspects of software testing and defect management
Effective written skills and ability to document automation, test harnesses, coding principles & standards
