Job Description
The Director of Career Integration is a new leadership position in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Futures Center focused on improving career readiness and expanding experiential learning opportunities for students in our college. This position will lead initiatives to integrate career development throughout our curriculum, collaborating with academic units to infuse career readiness content into courses and degree requirements across our 20 schools/departments and more than 100 undergraduate degree programs. The Director will also partner with university career services and other key administrative offices at ASU to ensure that all of our students have access to quality high impact learning experiences (internships, global education, faculty-led research, and so on).
Reporting to the Senior Director of The College's Future Center, the Director of Career Integration will play a key role in advancing The College's mission to prepare students for post-graduation success wherever their futures might take them. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the creation, delivery, and impact of career development and experiential learning efforts within The College and contribute to the holistic growth and future-focused development of our students.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND eight (8) years of related administrative experience, which includes five (5) years of supervisory experience; OR, Twelve (12) years of related administrative experience, which includes five (5) years of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Desired Qualifications
Evidence of a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Higher Education Administration, Counseling, or a related discipline.
Experience in career services, experiential learning, or related areas within higher education. (5 years)
Demonstrated knowledge of learning and development principles, with the ability to integrate career readiness into courses, degree program, and other academic settings.
Evidence of effective interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in leading and managing programs, supervising staff, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with assessment and data analysis to drive programmatic improvements.
Experience forging meaningful connections with key campus partners involved in career-readiness efforts, particularly among deans, directors, central administrators, and faculty.
Experience in preparing clear and concise reports, policies, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials.

Essential Duties
Develop scalable and innovative career development solutions to prepare and equip students for their futures (careers, further education, public service, etc.) throughout the student life cycle.
Implement strategies to enhance student participation in internship programs and other high impact practices (study abroad, research with faculty, etc.), focusing on equitable access to these opportunities.
Serve as the primary liaison between The College's 20 academic units, faculty, university leadership, career services, and other academic/administrative units at ASU to foster collaboration and alignment of career integration initiatives.
Design and implement materials and educational resources to supplement faculty and staff training, facilitating seamless integration of career development content into academic courses and degree programs.
Collaborate with other colleagues of the Dean's Office to infuse relevant career curriculum into our student recruiting efforts, academic advising practices, and ASU 101 student success course content and activities.
Manage the various student internship and related scholarship programs sponsored by the Dean's Office.
On-board, supervise, and train career counselors and other staff in the Futures Center.
Oversee event planning and activities related to career development within The Futures Center and our academic units (for example, employer workshops, career and internship fairs, recruiting programs), ensuring alignment of those efforts with institutional goals and objectives.
Stay informed about legal and ethical issues related to internships and work to address barriers to participation, particularly regarding unpaid internships.
Utilize data analytics and assessment tools to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of career services programs, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven decisions.
