Assumes overall responsibility for all projects within group.
Directs and coordinates the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of projects, including the acquisition of hardware and software. Assigns I/S staff and coordinates with departmental personnel in a matrix relationship to various projects and directs their activities for the project. Evaluates performance of staff and prepares reviews.
Confers with software/hardware vendors and other third parties regarding new products, opportunities, problems, enhancements and implementations. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree or appropriate long term experience in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of ten years progressive experience in information services (applications, networking or system support) with five years of management experience. Work requires knowledge of a wide range of hardware and software platforms.
Work requires the ability solve complex problems with minimal direction, involving multiple hardware and software platforms.
Work requires strong project management skills and experience with large project leadership. Work requires effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to promote growth as individuals, teams and as an organization. Work requires the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to all levels of staff within the organization, in the written and oral form.
Must be able to visit multiple work locations. # The Community Connect Director focuses on the continued development of LVHN#s Ambulatory Community Connect Strategy. This includes implementation of standard LVHN technologies, including EpicCare Ambulatory, for community-based providers. Utilizing an in-depth knowledge of practice operations (i.e. administrative, clinical and revenue) the director leads a team of several highly skilled resources to effectively support the transition.
She/he will oversee and manage day-to-day operations of resources across all program commitments. The director will develop and manage communication directives with leadership, LVHN ambulatory sites, Physician Hospital Organization, Medical Leadership, Community Connect sites, and resource teams. They are considered the primary contact between Community Connect, Epic and IT shared resources for alignment of cross-departmental needs and expectations. The director is responsible for facilitating monthly governance meetings and yearly reports to the PHO Board.
Large integrated delivery network operations knowledge, current Epic Certification (e.g. EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence or Resolute), and technology-centric applications implementation experience.
Able to draft strategic plans, lead large-scale initiatives, possesses excellent customer service, negotiation, budgeting and problem-solving skills. Executive-level acumen, strong presence and a skilled communicator. An advanced degree (e.g.
Masters or Healthcare), 10 or more years of applications design, build and deployment. Licensure and Certifications:#Epic # #LI-ML1
