Director, Agile Portfolio Lead
In the Agile Portfolio Lead role, you'll ensure your portfolio's delivery success by leveraging the appropriate Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe/LESS) to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the portfolio. The Agile Portfolio Lead will optimize productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the portfolio's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to change.
Actively partners with Product, Design and Technology stakeholders to align solutions with program objectives within an Agile delivery culture
Applies complex facilitation and dependency management techniques to drive cross-program and departmental planning, collaboration, and coordination
Advances Business, Technology and Operations leadership's understanding of their respective roles within Agile software delivery and influence organizational agility
Optimizes strategic flow of delivery across business and technology by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with measurable outcomes
Supports issue resolution and risk mitigation, escalating to advisory and steering committee groups, as needed
Understands overall architecture, business capabilities and alignment with corporate initiative so they can assist in removing impediments
Helps establish governance structure where decision-making is weighted toward empowered teams
Ensures that portfolio is well managed in delivery controls and compliance
Partners with technical leaders and others to support organization's automation (testing, pipelines, deployments)
Builds brand of delivery excellence internally and externally
Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead the best agile delivery talent
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of people management experience
At least 5 years of experience delivering technology programs
At least 2 years of experience as a scrum master or release train engineer for software engineering teams
