The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for account management and project management activities for Mastercard's largest issuing customer. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the implementation of Mastercard's global services at customers Transaction and Commercial Bank segment. The candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth, and delivering solutions to enhance customer's payments businesses and the candidate will be supported by a strong cast including product, advisors, marketing, loyalty, labs, and information technology.

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for the payments business with a strong desire to manage large global projects spanning across multiple parts of the customers value chain. To be successful this candidate will need to be comfortable in technology assets, building relationships internally and externally, understand the clients' needs, and recommend how Mastercard solutions help solve these needs. This individual should have a strong working knowledge of issuing and merchant payments ecosystem and be good at cross-collaboration with internal partners.

Role:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day account management for assigned products and services within our global account management team with a strong focus on the Transaction and Commercial Bank segment.

  • Develop in partnership with the client an annual strategic plan and execute against that plan.

  • Develop, manage roll out of a global Mastercard solution at customer with internal support and senior management exposure while maintaining strong business relationships at customers' organization.

  • Build out quarterly business reviews to help understand the customers' business, strategies, and opportunities.

  • Deliver against sales targets for Mastercard products/services and deliver strategic development opportunities that will drive Mastercard incremental revenue growth and enhance mutual profitability.

  • Develop and manage relationships between internal Mastercard partners including product, advisors, marketing, loyalty, labs, and information technology.

All About You:

  • Strong knowledge and success in the payments space. Transaction banking and Commercial experience a plus.

  • Forward-thinking, with an ability for creative approaches to solve business problems.

  • Strong ability to influence and build consensus across cross-functional units, leadership levels, external partners and customer.

  • Results-oriented and ability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

  • Payments knowledge with a proven track record of solution selling including using functionality and entrepreneurship to differentiate and derive value/revenue

  • Competent in both issuing and merchant payment systems. Assumes accountability and responsibility.

REM (Reengineering & Expense Management) works in close partnership with the businesses and support functions to identify and execute opportunities to manage expenses through strategic sourcing, demand management, process reengineering and procurement management. REM leverages the Source-to-Pay process to create expense data transparency and ensure vendor contract compliance. REM also manages our supplier relationships and our outsourcing risk. This is a reporting & data analytics role within REM. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reporting solutions to stakeholders in Firmwide Sourcing and across the firm. The candidate should have a strong technology-based skillset and business acumen with a focus on finding and creating efficiencies while delivering effective reporting & analytics. This position will require a strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and an understanding of expense management, invoicing, procurement and sourcing end to end processes. The reporting & data analyst is expected to provide daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. The candidate will work closely with Firmwide Sourcing leadership in order to support negotiations, data quality assurance, data analytics and process automation initiatives. The candidate is also responsible for producing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics regarding savings, productivity and other performance measures. Responsibilities include: * Execution of daily ETL processes. This includes the extraction, transformation and loading of datasets from multiple source systems, specifically; sourcing, contracts, accounts payable (BOXI), and other expense management and risk related tools. * Turn business requirements into solutions that drive meaningful reporting and analysis for stakeholders across Firmwide Sourcing and the firm. * Write complex queries for large volumes of data (joins, functions, sub queries, etc.). * Become a subject matter expert on the data model/structure in order to perform meaningful analysis and apply it to business needs. * Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables are completed on time. * Edit and create SQL stored procedures/views in order to generate the KPIs and metrics required by leadership. * Develop, modify and maintain visualizations and dashboards that are hosted on an in-house Tableau server (MSViz). * Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis; investigate discrepancies and gaps for issues arising from code errors, failing data connections or source system data quality. * Independently work with stakeholders for any ad hoc requests or modifications to existing reporting solutions and dashboards. * Find efficiencies with respect to database indexing, process automation and report execution. * Proactively monitor and manage ad-hoc and day to day tasks and document procedures that are easily replicable by other resources.
