Directional Driller

We have a current opening for a Directional Driller. AtEquix, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceedexpectations with all of our services, which include: Pipeline Construction, GasDistribution, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Facility Construction andFabrication, and Trenching services.

Responsibilities:

Operate Horizontal Directional Drills for underground utility installationsLocate existing utilitiesMaintain all equipment per service requirements and safety guidelines whilereporting any findings to supervisorCommunicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisionPrepare construction sites as directed from the Foreman/Superintendent onthe jobOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience as an HDD Rig OperatorKnowledge of Vermeer & Digitrak equipmentAbility to understand construction prints and specificationsValid Driver License with clean recordAbility to pass pre-employment and random drug screeningTraveling out of town to work on remote job sites when needed or directed bymanagerAbility to lift up to 50lbsWillingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsMust be able to perform the physical demands of the job
