Your role as a Direct Support Professionals Day Program staff needed

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a crucial role in providing person-centered support to help individuals enhance various skills such as leisure, social, safety, job readiness, and more.

What you need to be successful

To excel in the role of a Direct Support Professional at the Greenfield Center, you will need a blend of skills and qualifications. Experience in direct care, knowledge of human services, and previous exposure to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are key. Proficiency in Behavioral Safety Care Training and being a Behavioral Health Specialist will be advantageous for this position.

Additionally, possessing a High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Two professional references and an acceptable Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) are also required to ensure a smooth transition into this rewarding role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Behavioral Safety Care Training

• Behavioral health specialist

• Direct Care experience

• Knowledge of Human Services and working with IDD

• 18 years or older with High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license/acceptable driving record & reliable transportation

• 2 professional references

• Acceptable CORI
