We hire direct support professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with daily living activities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
Assist and supervise in activities of daily living skills
Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
Light housekeeping
Assist with transportation
Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
Data entry using Therap (EHR)
Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
Job Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
Strong communication skills
NO certification required
Position Details:
Location: Bridgewater County: Somerset
Hours Per Work Week: 40 Weekly Work Schedule: Thurs. - Sun. 12 am to 10 am
Other shifts are available at this location.
NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
