Merakey is currently seeking Direct Support Providers (Direct Care Workers) to join our Managed Long-Term Support Services (MLTSS) program in Elizabeth, PA and other surrounding areas located in Allegheny County.

$12/hour, Fee for Service

This position pays $12.00/hour while providing services to our consumers. Flexible scheduling is available ranging from 10 to 40+ hours a week. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. We provide a one-week paid training.


  • Housekeeping to include dusting, sweeping, cleaning of bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and living areas

  • Laundry

  • Possible personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing the consumer

Our person-centered approach is demonstrated through the implementation

of a custom Care Plan based on the consumers needs.

We provide assistance and support with several activities of daily living including:

Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. * Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. * Performs minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. * Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. * Assists in the repair and adjustment of equipment. * Washes vehicles and equipment. * Conducts safety checks on vehicles. * Assists senior mechanics in the completion of project work. * Assists with service calls for breakdowns. * Performs other maintenance related work as required. * Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
