Dungarvin is looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care support to people with developmental disabilities in our Day Program. Candidates will have a desire to create a lasting positive impact on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.
What You Get to Do:
Work a reliable schedule Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3:00pm
Work in a Behavioral Adult Day Program located in Rohnert Park, CA
Assist the persons served to direct the course of their own lives, develop and maintain relationships, and participate in their communities
Assist individuals with planning and achieving goals
Assis with direct care and support with daily activities such as mealtime and personal care
Implement positive behavior support plans
Drive the company van or small bus to activities in the community
Follow protocols and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment
Assist persons served to direct the course of their own lives, develop, and maintain relationships, and participate in their communities.
Assist individuals with planning and achieving goals.
Assist with direct care and support with daily activities, such as mealtime and personal cares.
Plan various activities, outings, and workshops, to improve life skills and help build independence.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
1 year of experience working with individuals who display behaviors
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive company van
21 years or older
Person-centered, patient, and kind
