A Direct Support Professional is needed within our Community Inclusion Team who would be responsible for encouraging and empowering individuals receiving Spokane Department of Disability Services with fun and engaging community activities. Our staff work directly with clients in their chosen activities and support them in building friendships and relationships with others in similar neighborhoods and communities. Some activities our clients enjoy; volunteering at local food banks, animal shelters, arts and crafts groups, dancing, karaoke, bingo, swimming, and walking groups.
Location: Spokane, WA
Wage: $19.50
The rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location.
Full Range Scale $19.50 - $20.60 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time and Full-Time positions available. Monday-Friday daytime hours with flexibility needed for some nights and weekends.

PAID training and orientation
Maintain knowledge of individuals, their goals and support needs.
Identify skills and interests to help individuals be fully engaged with the community.
Develop an individualized plan of service with each person.
Document data and notes to adequately show individual's progress toward goals on their service plan.
Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings and complete required training.
Maintain positive relationships and good communication with co-workers, supervisor, and all other employees of Compass Career Solutions.
Transporting individuals to various community outings across county in personal vehicle.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One-year related experience and/or training working with people in crisis, specifically in employment services.
Ability to perform CPR/First Aide as needed
A valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
