Seeking a Direct Sales Representative to meet and exceed sales objectives by maintaining product knowledge and sales acumen, planning and working a daily strategic sales plan to drive customer growth and generate sales, and coordinating with existing direct sales rep to grow existing territory and ultimately take sole responsibility for newly created geographic sales territory.
Sales Territory: Los Angeles area - requires frequent travel throughout territory
Salary: $80,000/year base + commissions (potential: $100-120K total)
Maintain commitment, accountability, and sales required to meet and exceed sales objectives outlined in annual, quarterly, and monthly action plans.
Develop an expert understanding of Dynatronics product offerings/advantages and ability to relate this information and a best practices gap to customers, influencing transactional and consultative sales.
Plan and organize daily work schedule to develop, maintain, and expand key customer relationships and base via telephone calls, email, face-to-face contact (e.g., site visits, sales presentations, product demonstrations), etc.
Drive new customer growth by assessing competitor information and trends, researching and identifying sales opportunities, exhausting direct-marketing tools to generate leads (outbound telephone calls, mass email merges), and maintaining rapport with customers.
Negotiate and close sales contracts with customers, coordinating accounts, products, pricing/invoicing, availability, and credit terms/limits in conjunction with the Customer Service and Accounts Receivable Departments.
Provide administrative reports tracking and analyzing sales pipeline in order to produce the volume and forecast accuracy required to meet company sales goals.
Submit activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
Resolve customer complaints by investigating, developing solutions, coordinating with Customer Service and Tech Services, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Assist the marketing department by providing data with regard to new products, trends, pricing, competitive information and new market opportunities
Performs additional related duties as needed.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. Particularly appropriate for candidates with athletic training experience.
Minimum one year of successful direct or inside sales experience, preferably capital equipment, including in the healthcare industry
Experience using computers for various tasks and competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
