OVERVIEW

Are you a master of short form direct response copy that persuades investors to take action right now? We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Direct Response Copywriter. A creative thinker with at least two years of experience developing intensely compelling material as a direct response copywriter.

You will be responsible for doing customer research, understanding direct response copywriting tactics, and coming up with first or third person stories that can speak to the consumer and portray the benefits of the product in a narrative form. You will also write short advertisement copies for the story with the goal of driving traffic and more importantly, sales.

The ideal candidate has an engaging way with words, a deep understanding of advertising and knack for communicating across mediums and to various audiences. Experience with financial information products and subscription marketing is a huge plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a direct response copywriter with a proven track record, who will:

  • Create content with a strong call to action for multiple mediums

  • Collaborate with marketing team and design team to create digital advertising for GoogleAds, Facebook, social media, newsletters, etc.

  • Develop live event registration forms, long-form webcart pages and other landing pages

  • Craft emails that drive prospects to webinar registration forms, video sales letters and order forms

  • Design product launch email campaigns and funnels

  • Split test advertising and other marketing campaigns for optimization

  • Track analytics of marketing efforts as it pertains to copy-driven resources

  • Additional duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years of copywriting experience

  • Demonstrated experience with SEO and Content writing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Communications, English, Marketing or related career experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High-level of proficiency in Google service tools and MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills

  • Creative thinker, who enjoys finding solutions to complex business need

  • Self-Starter with adept ability to be a strong collaborator

  • Handle multiple projects at once while completing them on budget and schedule

  • Exceptional at writing effective sales and marketing copy

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Excellent proofreading skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results in a timely manner

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently

  • Understanding and mastery of AP Style

  • Knowledge of content customization, including personalization

  • Knowledge of the Forex, Stocks, or Options markets- preferred, but not required
