Direct Ministry (Part-Time)

Description:

Young Life Murrieta is looking for a part-time direct ministry candidate to shepherd a team in Christ as she or he carries out the mission of introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate vision and strategy for Murrieta Valley High School club.

• Care for, direct, and nurture the leaders on the Murrieta Valley Young Life (MVYL) team.

• Develop key relationships with the school and administration.

• Look for adults and parents who could be more involved in MVYL.

• Ensure excellence in ministry (not perfection!).

• Be the liaison/eyes and ears on the ground for the assistant regional director.

Qualifications:

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

• An exemplary leader in contact work, Campaigners, club, camp, etc.

• Ability to lead peers and even those older.

• Organized.

• Effective communicator and mediator.

• Ability and desire to communicate with adolescents.

• Willingness to be trained.

• Involved in a local church.

• Willingness to make a yearly commitment to ministry.
