Direct Hire RN/ Cardiac Telemetry

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct hire position in the Cardiac Telemetry unit at NCG Associates. As a Direct Hire RN in Cardiac Telemetry, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in providing specialized care for patients with cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' cardiac rhythm, vital signs, and overall condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data
• Provide specialized care for patients with cardiac conditions, such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures
• Assist in the coordination of patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiac telemetry nursing practices

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred, but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing principles and practices
• Expertise in interpreting and analyzing cardiac telemetry data
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Benefits

• Location: Kansas City, Kansas
• Registered Nurse / Cardiac Telemetry
• Night Shift: 1845-0715 (4 available)
• Must have 1 year recent hospital experience
• Facility does offer shift differentials.
• BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years
• Patient population: primarily acute cardiac patients, post invasive cardiac procedures, chest pain, acute illnesses such as (but not limited to) ETOH withdrawal, COVID, sepsis, tikosyn and Sotalol initiation and titration
• Scheduling/shifts- 12 hours shifts 1915-0715, self-scheduling currently Monday to Sunday schedule until the end of the year
• A specific type/style of nursing, i.e. Team Nursing? ACLS required, TR band experience is preferred
