The Direct eMarketing Manager III will oversee all aspects of direct marketing for an organisation from inception to the delivery of direct campaigns. The incumbent will manage and lead MoneyGram's email and SMS communications efforts and focuses on direct contact with potential customers. The incumbent will support MoneyGram's customer and Internal/External Business Partners communications across the globe. The incumbent will also devise direct eMarketing campaigns in line with the organisation's marketing strategy and notifications using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including planning, targeting, segmentation, deployment, testing and reporting.
Assists in quality checks and deploying various campaigns, and report campaign KPI's and overall return on investment and ensuring that all direct eMarketing campaigns stay within the company's budget.
Oversee and setup one-time or automated email/SMS campaigns including targeting/segmentation, construction of email templates, landing pages, tracking links and promo codes.
Manage, plan, create, code, and test SMS campaigns for deployment within predetermined dates and times.
Conducts A/B tests for optimizing content and segmentation against key metrics including open and click rates.
Plans email/SMS campaigns and managing a monthly email/SMS calendar and cadence to document, schedule, and ensure timely execution.
Delivers timely reporting and insight that accurately measure email delivery and performance, and performs other duties as needed.
5 years of relevant work experience in creating, scheduling, testing, and executing one-time and automated email campaigns.
Spanish or another language proficiency is a plus.
Experience in Financial industry is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other email/SMS platforms (Marketo, Responsys etc.).
Working knowledge of HTML coding and basic SQL.
Knowledge of digital marketing channels, best practices, and technologies.
Familiarity with email/SMS best practices, industry trends, and CAN-SPAM laws.
Analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data to develop and measure marketing campaigns.
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including a strong working knowledge of Excel.
