Job Summary
The Care Partner will provide care to the residents living in the Meadowlark Household. The primary responsibility of the Care Partner is to assist residents with the three plagues of loneliness, helplessness and boredom by providing companionship, providing assistance with activities of daily living and meeting other needs as required, in a manner that promotes a positive, high quality life. Duties will include food preparation, cooking, cleaning, laundry and light housekeeping.
The Care Partner is a member of a consistently assigned, self-organized work team and is responsible for interacting with all team members in a manner that is respectful and collaborative. Each work team member is responsible for coordinating aspects of the team's work.
Skills and Knowledge
Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Organized, prioritize duties
Able to work well as a team
Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Required Qualifications
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
Must possess knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population
Must be CPR Certified
