Direct Care Associate - (PM Shifts Available)

Hours: PM Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)

Hiring Range: $2,318 to $3,090 DOE

Summary of Work

Under the direction of the unit nurse, the direct care associate will provide and ensure that quality nursing care is delivered to clients in the care of ND State Hospital. The DCA will assist with direct client cares, serve as a direct resource for the clients, provide care to clients within their treatment program; observe and monitor their condition, relate to clients in a therapeutic manner, communicate pertinent information to staff; complete thorough and timely documentation; create a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.

Minimum Qualifications

Direct Care Associate II - Requires a high school diploma or GED, certification as a Nursing Assistant and one year of work experience in a psychiatric care facility.

Direct Care Associate I - Requires a high school diploma or GED. We will provide CNA training onsite if not currently certified.
