Clinical Research Service (CRS) is responsible for providing comprehensive support of SCMG research at Scripps Health that meet the needs of our patients, physicians, partners and overall organization.
As Director, Research Integration & Management, you will oversee and manage the Nursing and Allied Health Research Management process. Be responsible for designing, planning, implementation and monitoring operational initiatives and programs consistent with research and quality objectives. In this role you will facilitate and support the integration of research findings and outcomes into care delivery.
Identify and support initiatives to generate study sponsorship (grant, philanthropy or sponsored). You will work collaboratively and communicates effectively with researchers, leadership, clinical experts and other stakeholders throughout the Scripps system contributing expert opinion and input on research and its integration into clinical care.
This is a Full Time, Salaried Director position located in La Jolla.
Master's or higher degree in Nursing, Research, Healthcare Management or similar.
Eight (8) years experience, (three) 3 of which in a leadership role.
Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, decision making, financial management, strategic development and implementation.
Strong verbal and written communications skills imperative.
Knowledge of nursing and allied health research methodologies and practice required.
