The CPE software product team oversees software for millions of devices in customer homes, including cameras, touchscreens, settops, broadband gateways, WiFi Pods, etc. Device management is a critical component of the product lifecycle, encompassing activation/onboarding, software upgrade, configuration, resiliency, self-healing, self-test, security, diagnostics, telemetry, logging, and credential provisioning. The Director of Product Management for Device Management will lead all aspects of device management.

Leads product development for beginning and end of device life, including new device trial and deployment, warehouse procedures, installation, failure detection / replacement, and end of life
Leads product development for in-life device management, including software upgrade, configuration, resiliency, self-healing, self-test, security, diagnostics, telemetry, logging, and credential provisioning
Addresses syndication and globalization concerns for device management
Engages with architecture and engineering leaders to drive device management initiatives
Demonstrates extensive experience in device management process, tools, and engineering
Demonstrates enterprise wide cross team collaboration skills
Demonstrates passion for optimizing customer experience
Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans overall policies and goals for CPE software product management team.
Leads team of specialists and managers to achieve product and team objectives.
Keeps leadership team informed of key developments and issues.
Provides leadership and direction for team, which may include multiple functional areas.
Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s).
Applies expertise in state-of-the-art product technologies and is relied on by top management to serve as a proxy for the market.
Defines, develops, and implements standard operational frameworks for products.
Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management of assigned products.
May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.
Oversees development of assigned new products and services and ensures customers' needs are met.
Provides product support and documentation and develops of product materials.
Manages lifecycle of new products and services.
Demonstrates excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to strategy.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science / Computer Engineering
Generally requires 10+ years related experience
