• Des Moines provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Des Moines and Central Iowa. Physicians and providers are supported by our state-of-the-art UnityPoint Health

• Des Moines hospitals: Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Children's Hospital, and Methodist West Hospital. In addition, UnityPoint Health

General:

• Established and growing practice

• Medical Directorship

• 3 Clinics in the metro area: Current providers: 3 Physicians and 3 APPs

• Competitive compensation and benefits package

• Including competitive base salary with additional production incentive

• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

• Monday through Friday 8am

• 5pm

• Additional details by request from group

Responsibilities

• Average patients/day: 18-22

• No call, weekends, or holidays

• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Common visits include: DOT physicals, pre-employment screenings, 411 physicals

• Do NOT do disability exams

• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine

• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice

• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
