Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Director, Pharmacy Performance-Health Plans
Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: Remote (see below for approved remote work states)
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Job Description Summary
This position will monitor pharmacy trends and the pharmacy budget, including financial modeling, planning & forecasting, supporting strategic initiatives, and pharmacy reporting. This position will report to the Vice President of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for leadership around the financial and operational objectives of the pharmacy benefit.
Support the oversight of our PBM contract, including financial guarantees and other contractual terms and invoicing.
Requires close collaboration with other management in the pharmacy department, as well as coordination with IT, finance, sales, and government performance areas.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
Minimum 5 years Accounting/Finance
Minimum 3 years Healthcare Management experience
Pharmacy/PBM 3 years (preferred)
