Dir, Market And Competitive Intelligence

The Market and Competitive Intelligence Director is responsible for leading the strategic intelligence function within the organization. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive intelligence strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

• Lead the collection and analysis of market data, including industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies.

• Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, pricing strategies, and market positioning, to identify opportunities and threats.

• Provide regular reports and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations based on market and competitive intelligence.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and finance, to integrate intelligence findings into business strategies and initiatives.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and tools for market and competitive intelligence, continually improving processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

• Proven experience in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic intelligence, ideally in a leadership role.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.

• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation and competitive advantage.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
