Responsible for the overall management of business development for the enterprise laboratory service line to include but not limited to administrative, financial, compliance, quality improvement, technical, and personnel activities in accordance with established policies and standards. Meets and consults with System VP of Laboratory Services for policies, procedures, forms, instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and LIS connectivity to promote increased growth of the service line, as well as maintenance of existing laboratory clientele.
1.Develops relationships with potential laboratory clients in order to obtain additional growth and revenue for the system laboratory service line.
2.Provides oversite and direction on maintaining current clientele in order to avoid loss of volume and revenue for the system laboratory service line.
3.Works with laboratory administration and operations staff to coordinate laboratory activities to insure that services are provided on schedule with quality and cost objectives.
