Dir Information Technology

Overview

The Director of Information Services is responsible for implementing, facilitating, and maintaining Athens-Limestone Hospital's information technology services including the planning, directing and management of the daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and executing the company's IT strategies, which includes overseeing the help desk administration, user training, managing IT budget, liaising with third-party vendors.

• Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions and increased data security

• Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware

• Identifying and recommending new technology solutions

• Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary

• Oversees departmental finances including budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science Applications or related field, or comparable computer hardware/software certifications or equivalent training and experience.

• Skilled project manager capable of managing competing priorites while leading department of 9 IT team members.
