The Program Director will manage cloud HCM and ERP implementation projects for BAE Systems Inc. The successful candidate has the demonstrated ability to manage complex large-scale cloud implementations, including planning, design, and build phases, as well as manage documenting requirements, design, configuration, testing, etc. The candidate has previous experience managing multiple HCM and/or ERP full life cycle implementations which includes managing resources and budgets, manage teams in the identification of business and technical requirements, process and system design, testing, training, and defining support procedures.

Strong project management experience is required which includes the management of project deliverables, scope, quality, risk identification and mitigation, resource management, scheduling, communications, including working with third-party systems integrators through all the phases in including the go-live of the platforms. Maintains close working relationships with key stakeholders to understand business/functional goals, anticipate requirements, and rapidly respond with working solutions. Assists in change management and the proactive adoption of cloud platforms through the development of strategic, targeted employee facing communications at all levels of the organization that demonstrate the value of the cloud over current state work processes. Results/Goals oriented.

Understands business needs and leads delivery across diverse stakeholder groups within businesses and functions to understand existing conditions, requirements, and constraints, and to plan, design, and implement cloud solutions. Coordinates across multiple technology groups such as Security, Enterprise Architecture, Network Ops, Desktop, and multiple Application teams to ensure engagement, strategic alignment to the project across technology towers, and successful implementation of all aspects of technology delivery

Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes cloud projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance goals. Manages third party integrators and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the requirements defined by the business/function.Establishes well-defined, measurable goals for self and projects and hold others to account without direct authority

FAST Labs, the research arm of BAE System's Electronic Systems, is searching for a SAX Technical Area Director to help manage the technical direction for new research in the Sensor Processing and Exploitation (SPX) Product Line. As the SAX Technical Area Director (TAD) you will drive the subset of the SPX strategy focused on the next generation of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The TAD will establish strategies for growing business aligned to these technical thrusts. The TAD works with the leadership team to pursue sponsored research programs within the DoD and Intelligence S&T communities. TAD's enable capture and execution of a technical thrust by being a trusted advisor to our customers and mentoring and working through a team of 20+ scientists and engineers. The SAX TAD coordinates and collaborates with peers and chief scientists within SPX as well as those in other FAST Labs product lines: Sensor Technologies (ST), Autonomy, Control, & Estimation Technologies (ACE), and Cyber Technologies (CT), RF EW and Advanced Electronics Technologies (R2E). Key skills for this role are: Strategy Development and Execution, Business Capture, Contract Execution, Talent Management and Development, and Transition of Disruptive Technology into BAE Systems Business Area products and services. The ideal candidate would have a mid-to-senior level research position in either the US Government or industry with a network of colleagues in the science and technology community. This network would span across the DoD, IC, and academia and include interactions at operational, strategic, and policy levels. Intimate knowledge of DoD and IC missions and their objectives is an essential dimension for this position.
