This position is responsible for driving results through leadership and strategy while cultivating a positive group brand. The Director of Finance Business Operations, oversees Division focused teams executing day to day Finance responsibilities in support of our Sales organization and our Advertising clients. This role ensures the mitigation of risk, accurate cash management, effective delivery of invoices and exceptional client support. This position reports directly into the Senior Director and oversees a staff of 18-22 professionals with two direct reporting Manger(s) and/or Supervisor(s).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Construct, update and execute strategy to achieve outlined business objectives
Continually evaluate workflows and proactively solve for any potential liabilities
Lead a team of finance professionals and maintain an effective team through selection, training, supervision, counseling, and measuring performance.
Maintain constant communication with our internal and external partners to keep a pulse on team performance and the team brand
Accountable to all tasks required by the Finance Business Operations team to effectively support our business.
Prepare a range of presentations and analyses for senior management across finance, sales, etc.
Support new process and system planning, testing and implementation
Monitor needs and adapt to the ever-changing demands of our industry
Facilitate ICC, SOX, IA and external audit requests and engagements.
Perform other duties as required
Leadership and an executive presence that shows strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under deadlines, multitask, negotiate, and delegate duties properly is expected.
A strong working knowledge of business software is essential to position effectiveness.
Integrity, maturity, leadership, character, presence/statue, common sense, initiative.
Outstanding business relationship and interpersonal skills are essential for frequent interaction with senior management.
Track record that shows examples of strong initiative and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent experience

Leadership and/or Finance Operations Experience (5+ yrs)
