Lead the benefit center of excellence with the goal of designing integrated, market-based benefit programs that provide employees with the support they need to deliver on Whole Person Care.
This role will drive innovation in the delivery of benefits and partner with the organization to leverage organizational capabilities to deliver high value benefits in a cost effective and efficient manner.
The role will evaluate and monitor market trends and adjust programs to remain highly competitive.
The role will strategically package and communicate the benefit offerings to meet employee needs.
Act as the relationship manager for benefit vendors and consultants with the intent of delivering a simple, yet robust customer experience for employees when they interact with benefits.
Develops and implements all associated communication strategies, materials and distribution of information to ensure employees understand both the plan's benefits and their value as part of the total compensation package.
Responsible for legal and regulatory compliance of benefits plans.
Scope of responsibility includes all traditional health and welfare programs (union and non-union), executive and physician benefits, pension and retirement savings plans, non-qualified plans, voluntary benefits, severance, recognition and the well-being program.
Collaborate with internal partners to integrate internal capabilities into the medical plan and drive value based care.
Ensure the inclusion and input from other Human Resource functions to identify common objectives, resources and activities. This includes corporate and business unit HR staffs, the Allina Recruitment Center, Human Resource Service Center, Compensation and others as needed.
BA/BS required; Masters strongly preferred.
Certification in benefits by CEBS or World at Work strongly preferred.
