Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the dining services department, and provides food services for residentsand employees.

Establishes departmental regulations and procedures in conformance with administrative policies. Develops standards for organization and supervision of dining services. Maintains quality dining services within the prescribed budget. Determines quality and quantity of food required; plans menus and controls food costs. Prepares food (including sauces, cold foods, fish, soups and stocks, meats, vegetables, eggs and other food items) according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner. Works closely with divisional dining services specialist and consults with dietitian when necessary to ensure meals meet the nutritional requirements of the residents. Oversees the food preparation and cooking, to ensure meals are prepared according to company standards. Makes frequent inspections of all work, storage, and serving areas to determine that regulations governing food safety and sanitation are followed. Prepares cleaning schedule, production worksheet and staff schedules. Maintains inventory of food and nonfood items. Orients and trains new employees in department; effectively delegates authority to dining services staff to ensure effective flow of materials and services. Develops and directs cost control system; prepares and submits department budget to Director Dining Services/Executive Director. Maintains appropriate documentation in resident's medical records. Provides nutrition education and counseling for residents; presents dining services education program to dining services and other staff as needed. Ensures safe work procedures are developed and followed, to include those relating to employee injuries, prevention, and infection control. Ensures a continuous quality improvement program is in place and appropriate follow-up occurs. May directly supervise employees in the dining services department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; two to four years experience in commercialkitchen, operation and line cooking, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience leading the work of others is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsCurrent ServSafe Certification required. Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required foodhandling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates. ACF Certified Culinarian (CC) preferred.

Management/Decision MakingUses limited independent judgment to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. Solvesproblems using standard procedures and precedents. Knows when to refer issues to supervisor and when to handlethem personally.

Knowledge and SkillsHas a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires basic analytic ability. Has an overall understanding ofthe work environment and process. Has working knowledge of the organization. Ability to organize and motivatethe work of other servers. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and E-mail. Basic typing skillsessential. A basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation, culinary nutrition, and supervisory management isrequired.

Purpose Statement: The Data Entry Coordinator position allows our maintenance technicians to do their jobs more effectively. They accomplish this through the creation and development of preventive maintenance plans that insure minimal impact on production activities. They also support the Facility Managers with quality assurance, regulatory compliance, procurement of required materials, and the recording and tracking of completed and assigned work orders. The data entry coordinator also arranges activities between BGIS departments, outside contractors, and the client to ensure that jobs are completed in a safe and efficient manner. RESPONSIBILITIES Administrative Activities * Inputs maintenance contracts into appropriate software. * Prepares monthly time and material billing information for customers. * Generates reports for weekly and monthly meetings. Includes pipeline reports, sales summaries, maintenance project reports, manpower reports, and employee expenses. * Oversees the collection and maintenance of various documentations to support various activities including but not limited to reporting, compliance, vendor qualification, client service agreement and legislative requirements, annual facility inspections, project administration and close out activities * Develops computer support programs that will aid in the reduction of printed forms, speeds up the process of getting the work out, and improves the professional image of finished products. * Support audit initiatives of work orders, training records, equipment lists, etc. * Manage data center SharePoint site(s). * Other duties as assigned. Data Reporting * Oversees data reporting activities, reviews reports and communicates observations to operations and project teams Work Order administration * Oversees work order fulfillment activities * Works with facility operations management to resolves issues and follows up with subcontractors and/or internal operations teams to ensure timely service delivery * Maintains ongoing communication with internal operations teams and service providers Promote Safety * Maintain safe working conditions in personal work space. * Take corrective action when notified of safety violations. REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy * Effective organizational skills * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality * Prior CMMS experience and associated software experience a plus. * Experience with SQL or Oracle preferred. * Experience with report writing or generating software preferred. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint. * High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required (Some college level coursework preferred). Physical Demands and Work Environment * Physical ability to walk jobsites in uneven terrain. * Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed. * Requires ability to make routine physical visits to jobsites, customer events in construction and other environments. * Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required, and be "on call" on a 24 x 7 basis for emergency situations.
