This position would require working knowledge and experience in Community Engagement in the Pensacola and Ft. Walton Beach area. What you'll be doing: The Community Engagement Coordinator drives programmatic approaches to community outreach, community health, and population health regarding member care. The Community Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for: * Building relationships with community stakeholders * Delivering Medicaid educational presentations at community events * Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide education * Executes the processes and policies for successful outreach and education to members and potential members, and community partners * Conducts outreach and educational strategies to support the organization's operational objectives, including member education and retention * Reviews strategies for all departments on providing appropriate access to members with limited English proficiency and sensory impairments, and following National CLAS standards * Promotes coordination between medical, behavioral, and social support health plan activities. * Works with other Company personnel distribute member health promotion materials. * Conducts outreach to various community organizations and programs to ensure that staff and members are aware of services and resources they provide * Participates in the creation of a highly collaborative, innovative, and transparent Medical Management team approach to achieving organizational goals * Other duties as assigned The Experience You'll Need (Required): * Bachelor's degree * Agent Health Insurance License 2-40 * Stellar communication skills * At least 3 years of community health program, care coordination, or community service organization experience in the health insurance industry or in clinical settings * Dependable transportation * Ability to drive program development and meet deadlines * Ability to communicate and influence a variety of constituents * Ability to identify and implement program changes as needed * Ability to establish trust and credibility at all levels of the organization * Ability to engage in community-based marketing * Ability to easily adapt to an agile work environment Finishing Touches (Preferred): * Technically savvy * Team player who is customer-service oriented * Local network and contacts in the community * A passion to make a difference in people's lives and to improve the overall healthcare system in America * Compassion of a social worker commingled with the savviness of a skilled marketer Evolent Health is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
