We are seeking an energetic Dining Service Aides to join our dynamic dining services team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.

Open positions:

Evening Aide: part-time position working 4:30pm

  • 8:00pm, including every other weekend and every other holiday

Weekend Aide: part-time position working 6:30am

  • 3:00pm, including every other weekend and every other holiday

Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our five Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, Robbinsdale and Woodbury.

Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 258 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.


Performs a variety of Dining services related duties, such as serving kitchen and dining room service, dishes, pots and pans, preparation and delivery of nourishments and supplies, sanitation, cleaning, refuse and recycling.


Education: HS Diploma or GED

Experience: No prior experience required

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus and production sheets.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.

  • Ability to communicate through oral and written skills

  • Able to meet physical demands of position.

Essential Functions * Plan and instruct progressive classes in a specialty area. * Observe and discuss individual progress with participants. * Motivate and guide class and program participation. * Set up and take down class equipment and report equipment problems. * Ensure safe and effective classes; responding to and reporting any accidents or incidents.
