Dining Room Manager should be Involved In All Dining Rooms during mealtimes and be there to assist residents and staff with any Issues that may arise in order to ensure that the residents get their daily meals In a respectful and timely fashion while adhering to the Dietary Guidelines. In the main dining room, we serve 60 Assisted living residents at two seating times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Wear Name Tag at all times
Gloves must worn when handling food and utensils
Make sure to keep workplace clean and sanitary at all times
Work together with fellow employees as a Team
Make sure all employees are properly trained and are able to complete their dally task assignments
DINING ROOM APPEARANCE
Ensure the Dining Rooms are properly set with everyday condiments as well as condiments specific to the meal being served.
Ensure Server Stations are neat and orderly before, during, and after all meals.
Ensure Serving Staff are in proper uniform and presentable.
Serve your own station while helping the other dining room staff when needed.
Ensure Resident satisfaction through a timely dining experience and customer service.
Conduct a walk through of the dining room during each meal asking for resident feedback.
Memorize diets and health concerns for each resident.
Ensure all servers side work is properly completed and signed off.
Ensure dining rooms are ready for next meal/shift
Check menus and note changes if necessary. Make copies for dining room and front desk.
Complete daily sanitation walk through.
Check that at least 5 plates that are served for accuracy and appearance.
Add any menu changes or diet changes to log.
Check Dining Room for attractiveness, cleanliness and timeliness.
Make sure all residents are accounted for in dining room/room service.
Prepare seating arrangements for guests.
Write fully staffed schedule for 3 servers per shift without incurring overtime.
Check staffing for current shift and following shift. Make adjustments if necessary.
Any scheduled overtime must get approved
PTO must be turned In two weeks in advance and is subject to approval.
Full time employees request for time off without pay may or may not be approved
