Description and Qualifications
The Dining Room Manager is responsible for managing and assisting the overall operation of the front-of-the-house food and beverage experience for all guests which includes but is not limited to Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Snack Service, Bar Services, Food and Wine Events, beverage stations, special group dining set ups and room service. The Shifts is 6:30am through the end of AM dining services, typically ending at 3:30pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Accountable to the Director of Food & Beverage for all conceptual operations
Accountable to the General Manager of Blackberry Mountain for all daily ops, staffing, and budgets
Training and knowledge of staff
Communicate all company-wide internal information to the dining room team
Coordinate schedule needs of staff
Daily operation of dining room and bar
Coordinate daily needs of all shifts to ensure proper coverage and care of guests
Coordinate dining room set-ups
China, Glassware and Silver inventory and ordering needs
Development and support of supervisors & Key Players
Support to beverage program
Assist with special cleaning projects
Monitor and assist with advancing service standards
Collect information and remarks from guests
Ownership of corporate meeting functions when applicable
Attend weekly staff meetings / Group Meetings / Development Meetings
Appearance of Three Sisters Common Areas and Satellite areas
Appearance and grooming standards of FOH team members
Disciplinary Action and upholding all company policies and standards
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members and Managers and interact with our guests.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
2-3 years' operational management or supervisory experience in upscale dining room
Knowledge of wine and spirits
Computer experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and property management systems
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and managers
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Knowledge and understanding of property management cashiering procedures
Must be able to understand basic math and comprehend budgeting issues
REASONING ABILITY
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
Must be able to be on feet for long periods
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
