Salary Range: $26.50 - 30.50 per hour

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Dining Room Manager is to effectively train and hire quality serving staff for their respective Bainbridge Senior Living community, ensuring the dining room is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Engagement: Provide top notch dining services while creating positive interactions with our residents.

  • Team Leader: Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure top level dining services are provided to residents and lead by example to problem solve issues that arise.

  • Community Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the broader community to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.

  • Quality of Care: Ensure the highest quality of dining services are provided to residents while meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.

  • Organizational Support and Professionalism: Follows all policies and procedures while supporting the organization's goals and values and remaining professional at all times.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) preferred. Previous experience in a dining related field required and long-term care setting preferred. Previous experience scheduling dining room staff required.

Language Skills: Ability to read and follow instructions, warnings, and procedure manuals; ability to follow work directions and assignments; ability to record notes, as needed. Ability to understand how to mix cleaners for proper use.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required push, pull and/or walk 80% of the work-day. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee is required to ask for assistance from co-workers, supervisors or managers when lifting and/or moving any object, regardless of weight, where personal injury has a reasonable possibility of occurrence. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

All benefits and wages offered are reviewed annually and are based on employment status of 30 hours or more per week*.
