Departmental Objective

provide CNU students with the highest quality in food and dining experiences. In doing so, we are

of customer satisfaction.

Purpose of the Position

This position will maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, checking and scanning I.D. card of students, and other forms of payments. It will ensure all equipment in the front of the house is working properly.

It will ensure that all supplies are on hand by reporting shortage to FOH manager. It will also monitor students and other patrons entering and exiting facility.

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

• Ability to properly handle all forms of payments

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prior customer service experience. Cash handling experience.

Additional Consideration(s)

Experience: Experience working in a high volume kitchen.

This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period;

Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program;

Selected candidate must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time;

Selected candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
