NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Managed Digital Workplace Services Technical Architect to join our team in the United States (US).
The Managed Digital Workplace Services Technical Architect will join our Global Solution Design team in the U.S. In this role, you will contribute to new capability development and continuous organizational transformation for a global business and IT services leader that has been recognized in the ISG Provider LensTM 2017 Quadrant Report for Digital Workplace Consulting, Large Market Managed Digital Workplace Services and Workplace-as-a-Service (WaaS).
The Technical Architect is a functional thought leader within the Managed Digital Workplace Services domain, contributing to large scale sales and pre-sales engagements, overall practice maturity, and enabling the usage of emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
Support NTT DATA business development efforts by collaborating and providing the required inputs into new opportunities to enable the solutioning and accurate incorporation of NTT DATA Services workplace services offerings and capabilities;
Act as a Managed Digital Workplace Services and Workplace-as-a-Service (WaaS) subject matter expert
Research and stay current on new technologies and products emerging in the Workplace Services area
Architect workplace services solutions to meet the client RFP/RFI requirements
Ensure that new client solutions are architected and designed in an optimum way to achieve the expected levels of functionality and quality
Promote existing and new capabilities and workplace services offerings to internal groups, partners and clients
Determine where development and enhancement of capabilities or offerings is needed by analyzing relevant opportunities, gathering inputs from strategic accounts and NTT DATA Services internal and external partners
Facilitate and coordinate collaborative dialog with sales, pre-sales and delivery teams, to provide consolidated input for relevant corporate stakeholders as they relate to new capabilities and repeatable solutions
Blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling solutions for Workplace Services
Build opportunity level cost models and supports benchmarking efforts against market pricing, positioning strategy and partner strategy
Work with solution design team members and sales to establish accurate costing and pricing techniques
Participate in establishing and maintaining Workplace Services practice architecture standards and supporting processes
Refine the definition and validation of new features leading to new solution development, including understanding of what a Client "complete" solution comprises of, its ecosystem, partner dependencies, and use cases, as required
Explore and enable automated sales and solutioning methodologies for new and existing capabilities and service offerings
Coach and mentor solution architects, sales practitioners and sales teams on the relevant Workplace Services capabilities and service offerings
10+ years demonstrated experience in IT Outsourcing and Managed Services delivery, solutioning/pre-sales, sales, product management or a corporate leadership role in managed services or consulting, with Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
In-depth experience creating and managing the creation of infrastructure outsourcing solutions and cost models
End user services domain and associated technical expertise in the following areas: Endpoint management (including mobility and BYOD), desktop engineering (including VDI, cloud VDI and Application Virtualization) and asset lifecycle management services
Knowledge of services support models and related interdependencies in support of a workplace services ecosystem
Understanding of emerging business and technology trends such as analytics and automation, as they relate to Workplace/End User services and their implications for potential clients
Experience creating and packaging various IT services offerings into large multi-year support services models for end user services/workplace services
Experience with end user services product portfolio structures and pricing models
