The Digital Workflow Manager will specialize in education and training of digital workflow offerings from BioHorizons and Vulcan Custom Dental. The territory will consist of NY, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, ME, NJ, DE. Candidates living in New York are preferred. This position requires 75% overnight travel, which could include some weekends. There will be a base salary and uncapped commissions offered to the ideal candidate.
The responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to the following:
Promote Vulcan processes and products directly to labs and dentist.
Provide webinars and training for BioHorizons Territory Managers
Co-travel with BioHorizons team to assist in closing deals, promote digital bundle deals and educate customers on BioHorizons and Vulcan digital workflow offerings.
Schedule follow-up meetings with territory managers and potential prospects
Provide educational lunch and learn programs in conjunction with the selling efforts of territory managers.
Submit monthly activity/call reports concerning customer-related concerns, competitive information, and an overall summary of progress in the region.
Develop a team approach within the assigned region.
Represent Vulcan in a sales management capacity during regional meetings and shows.
Provide inbound co-travel for new hires and may also include some outbound co-travel as determined by sales management.
Perform assigned duties in the assigned sales region.
Participate in training new hires either at the corporate office training sessions or within the sales regions. This would involve guided surgery, digital and other implant sales related training.
A resource for technical advice for new hires via a mentor program
Work with management on certain assigned projects
Play a key role during the national sales meeting as well as regional meetings.
Provide university support within the region.
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
Three to five years of outside sales experience required; dental industry experience preferred.
Prior experience in dentistry sales and/or marketing preferred.
Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adhering to specified deadlines.
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with minimal direction and make decisions.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
Strong focus on detail and accuracy
High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a strong sense of accountability
Strong technical, as well as conceptual aptitude
Strong negotiation and leadership skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in medical device development is a plus.
Must be able to travel overnight up to 75% including some weekends.
Must have valid driver license for car rental.
