Job Summary/Description:

FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is looking for an experienced digital video producer to join the #1 broadcast and digital news team in Las Vegas. This team member will have a digital-first mindset and be equipped with the skill set to push accurate story coverage forward for online and on-air consumption.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The successful candidate will put digital strategy first.

• Candidates must understand the importance and the process of a quick digital response to major news stories and corresponding social media strategy.

• That process involves experience working on news tips and sources to produce reportable results.

• Additionally, candidates must have experience managing professional social media accounts, including posting stories, editing videos for social media, and checking social media postings for news tips and potential story follow-ups.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Candidates will have demonstrable experience as a digital content team member for a news outlet and experience with multi-platform video editing.

• Background must include:

Minimum- Bachelor's degree in broadcast/digital journalism or the equivalent.
