Who You'll Be Collaborating With

Every day, you'll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of Digital Strategy rockstars with a smart sense of humor.

What You'll Be Helping Achieve

This is a highly collaborative role on the Digital Strategy team, responsible for helping integrated agency teams create best-in-class digital and social marketing across multiple clients. The widespread access and reach of this role within the agency mean very few days will look the same as the previous. This is a critical role in shepherding work from conception to execution. This individual will help set direction, rally teams around a vision, and provide a clear roadmap for bringing not just a concept, but a marketing strategy, to life. This role requires a relentless curiosity about effective digital marketing, emerging advertising and consumer technologies, and the tools that facilitate meaningful, actionable connections between people and brands. This position requires 3-5 years of broad spectrum marketing experience with large national or global brands and at least 3 years dedicated to digital marketing. Agency experience strongly preferred.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Campaign-Based Strategy Development: 50%

  • Collaboration with Creative, Production, Account, and Media Teams on Concept Development & Improvement: 40%

  • Long-Lead Strategic Framework Development and Client/Agency-Facing POV Development: 5%

  • Contribution to Refined Workflow, Process, and Structure for DS Involvement in Client Activations Across Departments/Channels/Disciplines: 5%

  • Collaborate extensively with the Media, Strategic Planning, Account, and Analytics teams to produce campaign briefs that incorporate platform best practices, applicable new ad formats, relevant competitive examples, key industry trends, and historical performance data

  • Actively work with Creative teams to ensure concepts align with the macro brand and campaign strategies and utilize the most effective and innovative content and media formats to achieve the client's marketing objectives

  • Leading social and digital-first brainstorm sessions for creative teams

  • Researching and presenting mobile-first creative best practices

  • Evaluating campaign performance with analytics teams to contextualize results

  • Creating content rollouts and corresponding platform recommendations

  • Evaluating and drawing insights from competitive executions

  • Identifying applications for emerging social ad formats

  • Meeting with an evaluating publisher / production partners and managing related executions

  • Developing year-long plans to accomplish client's marketing goals in digital and social

  • Writing short-term campaign briefs to quickly activate on new insights

  • Assist in the development and implementation of repeatable strategic frameworks for clients' digital and social marketing efforts

  • Help guide best practices for content distribution

  • Identify key media amplification tools and uncover content optimization opportunities in partnership with internal and external agency teams.

How You'll Excel in Your Role

  • Extensive knowledge of digital and social creative formats, ad types, platform characteristics, and audience behaviors

  • Understanding of brand-building principles, brand and marketing strategy frameworks, and intermediate media strategies

  • Significant experience writing and delivering creative briefs that inspire and facilitate exceptional creative work

  • Experience managing or partnering on paid digital and paid social media executions

  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling thought leadership materials (POVs, trend decks, topic deep-dives, etc.)

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Complete commitment to collaborative working environment and processes

  • Strong organization skills and capacity to handle a range of concurrent projects of different size and orientation

The ideal candidate will lead 1) building Customer/Senior Leadership-facing presentations, and 2) developing recommendations to improve new digital releases and digital catalog promotions for key digital accounts. The right candidate will have digital business development experience, and be detail-oriented, with the ability to focus on driving the execution of digital commerce strategy and marketing/promotion activities.
