Description
The Digital Strategy Manager, reporting to the VP of Marketing, is responsible for defining and overseeing the execution of the company's marketing-influenced digital media advertising and website roadmap. This exciting role will lead a team of digital marketers and define the company's long-term digital customer experience journey, using paid and traditional marketing technologies to support revenue growth, product commercialization, lead generation, and brand-building activities. This role serves as the subject matter expert providing routine guidance to internal teams on how to maximize media campaign results and drive efficiency in paid media spend.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Hands-on, day-to-day ownership and management of Franklin Water Treatment's full-service, e-commerce strategy
Define long- and short-term strategies to support marketing-influenced lead generation and revenue growth across all digital and traditional advertising platforms
Oversee the execution of Franklin Water Treatment's digital customer experience roadmap
Work closely with IT/DCX Teams to ensure website optimization for SEO/SEM and best practices on the utilization of Google AdWords and PPC
Lead digital marketing continuous improvement efforts and track performance to optimize Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS)
Lead website development and execution to ensure the optimal digital customer experience and drive organic website traffic
Act as champion to drive marketing engagement and sales opportunities on CRM platforms for Direct to Consumer Sales Channel (via Service Titan) and Indirect to Consumer and Commercial/Industrial Sales Channels (via Creatio)
Media forecasting and aligning media plans against business KPI's (leads, traffic, sales, etc.)
Manage vendors and/or agency partnerships for traditional channels including: television, print, radio
Manage budgets and performance to monthly, quarterly, and annual growth targets
Manage staff to effectively execute media placement and web site development
Perform other related duties as required or assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises supervisory and non-supervisory employee(s)
Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Working with Human Resources on employee issues
Maintains a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates top quality personnel
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related degree and/or equivalent work experience (required)
Experience and understanding of various forms of digital marketing software and services such as customer relationship management, digital asset management, project management systems, content management systems, marketing automation software, and where these fit within the current technology stack
Digital advertising platform experience (Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager experience required
Proficient in online research and data analysis
Consistently optimize channels, campaigns, and creative based on full-funnel performance and efficiency
Prioritize and lead new paid media channel testing
Previous supervisory experience
B2B2C experience (preferred)
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Adobe CC Suite of software
Proficient use of marketing automation software and customer relationship management systems
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer-based productivity tools required
Proficient knowledge and understanding of general computer and online software
