The Digital Strategist will partner with Partnerships Marketing team partners to develop a roadmap, understand stakeholder business goals, and develop powerful data-driven insights and inspiring creative ideas that will drive awareness, engagement, satisfaction and conversion for Facebook Media Partnerships web experiences that support video creators as well as media publishers in news, entertainment, and sports. These currently include Facebook for Creators (https://www.facebook.com/creators/) and Facebook Media (https://www.facebook.com/facebookmedia) and this role may also lead the creation and management of additional websites based on business needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing high-visibility responsive web experiences. This will include driving the future roadmap and enhancement of the web experience for various audiences including the creator community and media publishers as well as overseeing maintenance, optimizations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with a multitude of content management systems and be comfortable with HTML or XML with a working knowledge of CSS.

The role will require strong web design, technical and analytical skills with the ability to partner closely with a multitude of internal and external cross-functional teams including web strategy, marketing, brand design, analytics, engineering, web agencies, and legal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the end-to-end web strategy and execution for Facebook Media Partnerships which include supporting creators, entertainment, news, and sports verticals

Work closely with design and development teams on executing site roadmaps as well as overseeing maintenance and optimization of multiple websites

Maintain a deep understanding of website experiences and identify unique opportunities to leverage content, creative, and technology that may drive or influence execution

Experience planning, conducting, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research

Scope, prioritize, and execute website updates and overall site roadmaps while effectively managing timelines and stakeholders

Lead and coordinate internal and external cross-functional teams including but not limited to engineering, design, and marketing to drive site updates and improvements

Manage site SEO strategies and content optimizations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in a website marketing/digital experience function

Experience in creating digital or marketing strategies, taking into consideration the technologies and tactics needed for execution

Knowledge of digital design principles, usability and UX principles and branding

Experience with various content management systems (WordPress, Joomla!, or similar)

Experience in HTML, XML, and CSS

Experience with analytics and data tracking tools

Experience with SEO management and optimization
