As a Digital Strategist, you will be looked upon to have extreme passion for providing big picture, integrated, and data-informed thinking that sharpens omni-channel brand communications. You will have a strong understanding of the digital landscape, including best practices and emerging trends for website, online search, ecommerce, paid social media campaigns, programmatic display and video, native, audio (podcast, streaming), voice search, and email. As a true team player and influential leader, you will work alongside other strategists, digital and brand-centric creatives, outside agency and media partners, and broad network of key internal stakeholders to develop communication programs for an array of Nestl Purina brands.


  • Develop, write, and present brand communication strategies that span and connect digital and traditional consumer touchpoints.

  • Lead the activation of channel, content, design, and functionality strategies.

  • Work closely with digital project managers, content planners, account service team members, and others, such as analysts, to clearly communicate strategic priorities and ensure key creative deliverables perform against the strategic vision.

  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, internal experts and decision makers and leverage these relationships to achieve ongoing strategic alignment.

  • Be at the forefront of industry trends and emerging capabilities of the digital landscape and actively participate in knowledge sharing among internal teams and clients.

  • Consult with analysts, research specialists, and media partners to identify appropriate measurement plans, including overall success metrics and channel-specific KPIs. Contribute during performance reviews to develop in-market optimization tactics.

  • Guide strategic problem solving around communications planning through the creation and facilitation of group brainstorms / work sessions with key stakeholders.



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.

Experience (Years/Type):

  • 5+ years of experience working in the digital marketing and/or digital communications field.

  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry preferred.

  • Managerial or leadership experience preferred.

  • Google Analytics experience preferred.

  • Experience collaborating with creative teams preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of digital channels (including content creation, publishing and analysis of content performance) highly preferred, specifically for websites, social media, email, ecommerce, and a range of paid media digital channels.


  • Aptitude for marketing fundamentals and approaches to brand communications that deliver on business goals and priorities.

  • Ability to inspire, educate, and influence through strategically derived insights, such as performance results and best practices.

  • Experience championing new ideas and processes because of problem-solving and clarifying ambiguity.
