The Digital Strategist is responsible for the successful management of digital strategy for client brands. Working as part of the Digital team, we are looking for an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of a client business and drive growth opportunities.
Ideal candidate must combine an in-depth knowledge of client business objectives, online strategies, and their competitive landscape with a rich background in the digital marketing industry, to deliver effective digital marketing recommendations. Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions.
Essential Job Functions:
Handles the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including product development, media briefing and commercial execution
Plays a vital role in promoting integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless delivery of all work to the client
Identify and filter market and technology trends through extensive research to capture new product opportunities
Create, evaluate and analyze media/tech partners proposals for new product ideas and new process and product improvements.
Provide support to guarantee product/process implementation and time to revenue.
Collect, organize and structure all additional information required to support the blueprint
Develops unique strategies and builds upon current client strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed objectives
Fosters timeline development and monitors progress, ensuring deadlines are met
Develops strong, trusting relationships between Client Service Teams (CST) and internal Digital Pure Players, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution
Manages CST expectations, bringing issues/concerns to attention before they become problems, offering potential solutions, and advising of potential delivery delays
Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients' marketing and media plans, and provides media solutions including programmatic, performance, content marketing, mobile, social, viral, etc.
Writes communications briefs to Pure Player Teams, ensuring that creative and media are strategically integrated
Coordinate close to the Strategy and Insights department to review research studies that yield rich insights into consumer online behavior and key motivational/attitudinal behavior
Translate a total understanding of online target audience and mindset modes, into digital media strategies
Reviews statements and estimates of work prior to CST review
Ensures accountability is established during the media planning process
Skills and Requirements:
Three to five years of full-time experience in digital marketing or advertising (digital experience required)
Must be fluent in English.
Superior communication skills, both internal and client-facing
Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills
Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Media and Technical Delivery Specialists
Ability to identify opportunities for growth and incremental opportunities with client partner
Strong interest in technology or digital marketing
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
