This role will be hybrid, in NYC. The Digital Specialist of Social & Influencer, at Involved Media has a concentration in Paid Social Media planning and buying with an additional expertise in influencer paid social activation. This role will actively manage cross platform social media campaigns and be responsible for overall client success.
The Digital Specialist will oversee and manage Paid Social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest and other relevant platforms. Secondarily, they will also launch and Q/A influencer whitelisting campaigns. A successful Digital Specialist will effectively manage the media budget, pacing, campaign set up, QA processes and work with the media team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and scale accounts.
The Specialist's responsibilities include owning certain client relationships, ad campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, campaign optimizations, data analytics & reporting, billing, pacing and more. The ideal candidate will be able to balance high urgency clients, demonstrate strong excel skills; analyze data, extract insights and trends to drive their client's business forward.
This individual is a high achiever, driven to execute individual and team goals, and foster an inspired work environment. This position will have one Assistant who will be working under them and will be looking towards them for mentorship.
Responsibilities
Perform ongoing admin tasks such as pacing and billing
Provide day-to-day ownership of all aspects of assigned accounts including client, agency and vendor communication as well as campaign budgeting, strategy, creation and optimization. This role is hands-on execution
Demonstrate Paid Social and whitelisting influencer experience and success managing campaigns across Meta and TikTok (additional platform experience, a bonus). Bring well-versed Social Media ability into performance marketing KPIs, brand building, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Display thorough understanding of client goals and performance to develop successful strategies (with the guidance of Digital Sr. Specialist, Supervisor and Director) to exceed campaign expectations
Accurately launch, manage, and execute campaigns in Bid Management platforms, ensuring targeting, tracking and copy, and support client objectives
Work collaboratively with counterparts across Data and Analytics, Media Buying Operations, Media Partnerships, and Digital Integration departments to ensure a unified approach to client success
Organize data into actionable insights and learnings
Provide bulletproof recommendations that factor in campaign goals, historical performance, benchmarks, as well as potential issues
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position directly mentors a Digital Media assistant Unfortunately we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.The salary for this position is $51,5K-$70K. The successful candidate's salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required2+ years of related experience in a Paid Social Media role
In-depth understanding of campaign success metrics: conversions, pacing, target CPAs, etc required
Proficiency in the following platforms required: Meta, TikTokFamiliarity with A/B and multivariate experiments required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
Experience with client communication and presenting information to groups required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, process oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once. Time management skills are critical
Internal drive for excellence, knowledge and learning new skills
Strong Plus
Experience with influencer activation via whitelisting/paid media
Team management expertise of at least 1 year
Familiarity with Pinterest and Snap are a plus
Familiarity setting up brand lift study campaigns across social media platforms
Experience with doing pacing and billing tasks
Knowledge utilizing third party ad serving platforms (E.G. DoubleVerify)Experience with website analytics tools (E.G. Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, Shopify)Experience in utilizing audience and competitor research and analytics platforms (E.G., Resonate, Telmar/MRI, Pathmatics)Experience working on with a variety of budgets in Paid Social & Search accounts a strong plus ($50K- $1M+)Agency or marketing experience is strongly preferred
